Handwoven Rugs, Made Slowly
At Woolway Studios, every rug is woven by hand using Armenian wool and natural dyes, following traditional techniques and patterns rooted in local textile heritage. Because this process is slow and intentional, we create rugs in limited numbers and accept only a small selection of commissions each year.

Commissions
A commissioned rug is a collaborative process between you and our studio. Each piece is unique and woven specifically for its future home.
What can be customized
- Size & proportions
- Color palette (based on available natural dyes)
- Pattern direction or motif inspiration
- Intended use (floor, wall, private space)
All commissions are made using:
- Armenian wool
- Natural dyes
- Handweaving techniques practiced at Woolway Studios
Designs are developed within the boundaries of traditional weaving logic and material limitations, ensuring authenticity and longevity.
Waiting List
For those who prefer to receive a finished piece rather than commission one from the start, we offer a waiting list.
By joining the waiting list, you will:
- Be notified when new rugs are completed
- Receive previews before public release (when possible)
- Have priority access to available works
Waiting list placement does not require immediate commitment.
