Big changes, fresh ideas, and new spaces for creativity

At Woolway Studios, we’re always evolving—not to chase trends, but to deepen our roots and expand the ways we serve our community of makers, thinkers, travelers, and dreamers.

What began as a small natural dyeing studio has now grown into a vibrant center for textile art, collaboration, and cultural exchange. And we’re just getting started.

New Rooms, New Energy

We’ve recently expanded our guesthouse, adding three new rooms to welcome more travelers, artists-in-residence, and workshop guests. Designed with comfort and creativity in mind, these rooms are more than places to sleep—they’re quiet corners for reflection, inspiration, and rest after a full day of weaving or learning.

Workshops That Go Deeper

Our hands-on workshops in weaving, natural dyeing, and restoration are now available year-round. We’re crafting longer-form courses, private intensives, and mobile workshops abroad. These programs offer more than skills—they create a shared language of craft and connection between cultures.

Design Inspired by Storytelling

We’re also working on a new line of rugs, inspired by Armenian theatre, film, and architecture. These designs are rooted in memory and place—abstract floor plans, symbolic patterns, and secret motifs—all woven into pieces that speak the language of story and soul.

Why This Growth Matters

Growth, for us, means more opportunities to share, teach, and preserve. It means creating space—literally and metaphorically—for artists to thrive, for traditions to breathe, and for new ideas to emerge.

We’re not growing to become bigger.
We’re growing to become richer in meaning, deeper in connection, and more open to the world.
